    The New Proprietors:

Mr Aled Lewis is a well-seasoned traveler, and has been running his own tree specialist firm, specialised in large trees, for 15 years.

He has also been involved in the tree work on some of the oldest Veteran and Heritage Trees in Germany.

Since they took over, he has been taking care of the cycle hire, as well as the cafe's renovation.

His green thumbs were put to the test when asked to bring a splash of color onto the courtyard.

Miss Berengere ( aka Bay) Garcia is a French trained chef who has lived in Wales since 2001. She comes from St Jean de Bueges in the South of France.

She has been working in various Rosette restaurants in Shropshire as well as Wrexham County.

Since they took over the cafe, she has been updating and developing new menus, to accommodate a wide variety of taste.

After an extensive course of refurbishment both in the kitchen in July 2007 and in the dining area in October 2007, we reopened the café and subsequently, received a Welsh Food Hygiene Bronze Award from Powys County Council.

The cafe can now accomodate around 30 people indoors as well as around 40-50 people outdoors.

We would be happy to take bookings for groups, for either sit-down meals or buffet lunches.
